The training courses offered by the Global School of NDT follow
established training programs, we will however, modify any offered program to
meet an employer specific requirement. Should an employer wish to have a
dedicated course for their own program requirements, please send an email
detailing what specific fabrication codes or company specific standards and
specifications are required to client@gsndt.com
- Introduction to Phased Arrays
-
This course is designed for the Non-NDT professional such as
Quality Assurance and Quality Control staff, Plant inspectors,
Maintenance, Inspection and Senior Management. The introduction to
Phased Arrays Course is designed to:
 | Offer the attendee an introduction into the applications of Phased Arrays
and the ongoing replacement of Radiography as a volumetric examination
medium
|
 | Requirements from a Written Practice in terms of training, examination and
certification of NDT staff.
|
 | Code or International implementation standards that need to be
incorporated into procedural requirement |
For further
information, follow the "Introduction to Phased Arrays" links
above.
- Omniscan Orientation
-
This course is designed to take the Shear Wave proficient
technician through the functions of the Omniscan.
- For further information,
follow the "Omniscan Orientation" link above.
-
Phased Array Level II Course
-
This course is designed for the NDT professional that needs to
take his company and the Application of Phased Arrays to the point
whereby the company can consider replacing volumetric examinations
with traditional radiography, to the user friendly and more
importantly - safer method of inspection using ultrasound This course
has been approved by the Olympus NDT organization and follows the
British Institute of NDT PCN requirements.
- For detailed course
information and registrations, follow the "Phased Array"
Level II link above.
- Phased Array Flaw Detection and Sizing
-
This course is designed to provide the successful Phased Array
level II technician with the in-depth scanning techniques that will
ensure a high probability of detection, accurately size any indication
and define the type of indication by reviewing the echo-dynamic
pattern. This course is an extreme hand on course, providing the
student with significant practical applications which will challenge
both freehand and encoded scan applications.
- For further information,
follow the "Flaw Detection and Sizing" link above.
- Time Of Flight Diffraction
-
This course is designed to take the advanced NDT technician
through the time of flight diffraction technique and its ability to
perform flaw detection, location and sizing. Considerable time is
spent in the collection and analysis of TOFD data and the comparison
to traditional Pulse -Echo technique.
