Course Overview - Introduction to Phased Arrays
This three day course is aimed at the non-NDT user such as QA/QC personnel, plant inspection personnel, construction and fabrication management and is intended to introduce the use and application of Phased Array to the industrial end users, where currently, traditional radiography is performed.
The course students will have a detailed review of Phased Arrays, will review the safety cases, the cost of implementing UT in lieu of Radiography, the implications of ASME Code cases as well as overview the Phased Array Technology, technician certification and adaptation of Written Practices.
