Omniscan Orientation

Course Duration 16 hours (2 days)
Designed For Those personnel wishing to attend either of the five day Phased Array Level II courses who do not have specific experience in the use of the Omniscan equipment
Pre-Course Requirements: A solid understanding of the physics of ultrasound - candidates should be experienced to, or hold, UT Level II weld inspection

Omniscan Orientation

This two day course is designed to take the UT level II or III through the functions of the Omniscan, including initial set ups, File and Menu functions, data storage and report generation within the Omniscan.

This course has a class limit of eight to ten students and is a pre-requisite course for those technicians who are planning to attend the Phased Array Level II or the PA Detection and Sizing Class and are unfamiliar with the Omniscan functions.
